Ellie is a purebred Shih Tzu that I got from an American Kennel Club (AKC) breeder. I and my younger brother were longing for months to have a Shih Tzu. He used to have one when he's in high school, but unfortunately it died due to excessive bleeding. One of our cats scratched his eyes, and an eyeball went out. It sounds tragic.

We asked different breeders in http://www.akc.org/, and we decided to drive in Salisbury which is 116 miles away and took us more than two hours driving. The breeder's website is http://shihtzubytheshore.com/ He's friendly and guided us for taking care a puppy. He gave us a health certificate, and there's a health warranty. He also gave us puppy food, toys and towel that had a scent of her sister.
