First Time to South Korea: Day 2

at MBC Dramia
We got good sleep in Daemyung Resort. We had our buffet breakfast. There are lots of food and drinks. We could always go back whenever we want. We left Daemyung Resort after our breakfast. Then, we headed to Seoul.
I bought fish cake worth 3,000 KRW during our stopover.

The travel was about four hours. It's kinda long since we came from province. I actually thought that the travel is only for two hours. Our bus got lost on looking for MBC Dramia. It is one of the shooting places of historical Korean dramas such Jang Geum, Yi San, Queen Seon Deok and Dong Yi.

The "Horse Healer" or "Horse Doctor", a Korean drama, was currently shooting that time. Unfortunately, we didn't meet the main actors because they didn't allow us to be near at their shooting. It would be a great experience if we were able to take some photos with them. We only saw some extras, production staff and the vans of the actors.

We had our lunch nearby. I ate a lot of rice. That was my first time to eat osam bulgogi.

Kimchi making is cool. The assigned staff taught us the different ingredients and explained it very well. Actually, the procedure is easy.

I love this activity. This experience was the best since I couldn't wear this costume here at Philippines. I was not the only who was very happy and enjoyed. Our companions, too. All of us were laughing when we tried the hanboks. Some of us wore two types of costumes. My hanbok is a royal one. It could be a costume for Gong ju, a princess.

Then, we went to Gwangjang Market. It is very big. You can find cheaper souvenirs here compared to Incheon airport or shops at province. You can also eat here a lot of Korean food. There are clothes here, too. My mom bought a jacket here. While talking to the adjumma, the seller, we had difficulty since she spoke Korean. She actually thought at first that I'm Japanese since she greeted me in that language. I only understand few greetings. Then, I spoke few Korean phrases. I know some basic since I love watching Korean dramas. The experience was great since we survived for buying a jacket.

We had our dinner at a restaurant somewhere in Seoul. I forgot the name of the restaurant. I had difficulty eating ginseng chicken soup because the rice, including the ginseng, is inside the chicken. However, I was satisfied since I found and ate the ginseng. Ginseng is really effective. I usually have dysmenorrhea, but I didn't have on the next day.

Then, we went to watch Nanta Show. It is a cooking performance. The actors are good and funny. They are so talented in chopping with music background. You don't have to worry about their language, since you can still understand the story because of their actions. Taking photos are not allowed during the show. Audience has the chance to go up the stage, and I found it amusing.

Taken at third day
We arrived at Ramada Seoul Hotel late at night, around 10:30 PM. That's why I, my mother and my sister didn't travel around Seoul because we felt tired and we can't leave alone at our room because there was only one key for us. The free wifi is only available at the lobby of the hotel. Our room is kinda small because they added extra bed because we were three. I didn't like that they only gave us one key per room, because we can't ride the elevator without it and we can't leave our mom alone at hotel room. The electricity is connected to tv, lights and outlet, and key is needed to access them. If we left it at our room, we can't ride the elevator. We didn't bother to turn on the air con because it's really cold, so we just slightly opened the window.
